Nieuw Album 'Le Noise'

De Canadese singer/songwriter en rocklegende Neil Young (1945) zal eind september zijn nieuwe album 'Le Noise' uitbrengen.
Het album werd opgenomen in Los Angeles en geproduceerd door U2 en Bob Dylan producer Daniel Lanois.
Het album verschijnt in november ook op blu-ray, gevolgd door een release als app voor de iPhone en iPad.
Daniel Lanois meldde onlangs aan het muziekmagazine Rolling Stone dat het album een aantal solo akoestische nummers bevat, maar de rest van het album is stevig elektrisch. Neil Young gebruikte voor dit album geen begeleidende band.
Neil Young is qua album release erg productief, vorig jaar verscheen zijn meest recente album 'Fork In The Road'.

Op 12 november 2010 wordt Neil Young 65 jaar (jong).

De website is onderhanden genomen en heeft een aantal aanpassingen ondergaan.
Het Forum is nu niet meer een apart onderdeel, maar volledig in de website geïntegreerd.
De berichten en accounts zijn zo veel mogelijk overgenomen en op wat kleine foutjes na, staan alle berichten weer terug.
Voor de die-hard forum gebruikers is het alleen even slikken omdat zij nu hun avatar opnieuw moeten instellen.

Hierbij het verzoek aan alle gerigistreerde gebruikers om je profiel bij te werken.

Lukt het niet om in te loggen, gebruik dan de vergeten gebruikersnaam/wachtwoord optie.
Indien dat ook niet lukt stuur me dan even een berichtje via het contactformulier,

Er wordt nu ook gebruikt van een 'social community' onderdeel, wat het mogelijk maakt om vrienden te maken en berichten uit te wisselen.


Als je ingelogd bent, heb je ook de mogelijkheid om op berichten te reageren en in de discografie van Neil je recensie te schrijven.
De discografie is echter nog niet compleet en er zal de komende maanden hard gewerkt worden om deze helemaal bij te werken.

Ben Keith, de grote muzikale vriend van Neil is op 73 jarige leeftijd overleden.

Afgelopen week overleed Ben Keith, vooral bekend als steelgitarist bij Neil Young, op drieënzeventigjarige leeftijd.

Keith speelde mee op veel van Young’s klassiekers uit de jaren zeventig, maar speelde ook in de jaren daarna regelmatig met hem en ging ook vaak met Young mee op tournee.

Keith is te horen op platen als Heart Of Gold, Tonight’s The Night, Comes A Time en Harvest Moon.
