Nederland heeft de Olympische Spelen afgesloten met een bronzen medaille. Het Oranjeschaatstrio Jan Blokhuijsen, Mark Tuitert en Sven Kramer versloeg de Noorse ploeg in een Olympische recordtijd op de ploegenachtervolging. Dat de druk nu echt van de ketel is bleek gisteravond tijdens een optreden van de Corona's in het Holland Heineken House. Tijdens het optreden van het de huisband kwam medaillewinaar Mark Tuitert ineens het podium op. Met een gitaar speelde hij het nummer 'Rocking in a free world' van Neil Young mee. De zaal was laaiend enthousiast. Tuitert, in Vancouver winnaar van olympisch goud op de 1500 meter, speelt in zijn vrije tijd veel gitaar. (bron: NOS headlines.nl)
